I've always loved vintage field guides and natural history illustrations. This ongoing series is inspired by those classic references, combining detailed bird portraits with a clean, field-guide-inspired layout.

Each guide focuses on birds connected by a common theme, habitat, season, or region. The artwork is inspired by my own birding adventures, with every bird based on a photograph I took during an actual encounter in the field.

Part reference and part artwork, these guides celebrate the birds that have captured my attention both through the lens of my camera and at my drawing table.
