2026 Bird Calendars
I’ve always been a calendar person. There’s just something about having twelve little works of art to mark the months that has always delighted me. I love the process of choosing a theme and then fleshing out twelve different illustrations that belong together, but still feel fresh each time you flip the page.
For 2026, I created two very different bird calendars, each celebrating my lifelong love of feathered friends.
Birds in the Meadow is a watercolor-style calendar featuring whimsical botanicals and soft textures. The birds included are: Northern Mockingbird, Purple Finch, American Kestrel, Bluebird, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Great Blue Heron, Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, Palm Warbler, Lincoln's Sparrow, Chickadee, Cedar Waxwing, and Cardinal. Each one is perched among meadows of flowers and foliage, inviting a little poetry into everyday life.
By contrast, my Bird Stamp Calendar has a bold graphic look. Each bird is drawn in a flat, detailed style, inspired by the classic beauty of postage stamps. Featured birds include: Brown Creeper, Savannah Sparrow, Wood Duck, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, Eastern Towhee, Herring Gull, Common Grackle, Blackburnian Warbler, Carolina Wren, American Goldfinch, and Blue Jay. The crisp lines and vivid colors bring a sense of design and detail to each month.
Two distinct styles, one shared love: celebrating birds, month by month.
