A new butterfly pattern
Facts are facts: I clearly love drawing things with wings. Birds, butterflies, moths—if it flies, it ends up in my sketchbook sooner or later. Add in my love of nature and my obsession with building patterns, and this new design fits right in.
My navy and blush butterfly pattern on various home decor and accessories.
This butterfly pattern was such a fun one to create. Even though pink is hands-down my favorite color, I ended up leaning into deeper jewel tones for this piece. The navy background, soft blues, muted greens, and rosy wings gave it this rich, moody look that I really ended up loving. It’s always interesting when a palette surprises you in the best way.
I hope you enjoy seeing this pattern in action as much as I enjoyed creating it!
