Brassicas & Blooms

Something I recently realized….I really love cabbage. Like… a lot.

When Pinterest Predicts released their Cabbage Crush trend…let’s just say my attention was immediately grabbed. I’m constantly photographing it when I come across it—at the farm, at markets, growing in neat rows, or looking surprisingly fancy in the field. I searched “cabbage” in my phone and found way more reference photos than I expected. That was my “okay, this is a thing I should lean into” moment.

That’s how Brassicas & Blooms came together. I was drawn to the idea of celebrating cabbage not just as food, but as something genuinely beautiful. The layers, the colors, the structure…ornamental cabbage especially feels like it’s doing double duty as both vegetable and flower.

This collection plays with that overlap. It’s inspired by cabbages in the garden and in the kitchen: whether that’s sautéed bok choy, cabbage dumplings, kapusta, golumpki soup, fermented sauerkraut, or whatever brassica-forward recipe you keep coming back to. It’s cozy, practical, and meant to be used.
